The first phase
The Technological Park of Basque Country has completed the first phase of construction.
Six billion [pesos] invested in three years has transformed into 140,000 m2 of surface (32,000 of them able to support buildings) exclusively available to high-tech companies with markedly innovative missions.
All services are available; general to specific.
The maximum institutional help from the Autonomous Community of Basque Country as well as all the financial incentives established by the Autonomous Delegation of Bizkaia [Diputacion Foral de Bizkaia.]
Rooms are offered for rent with a plan to buy after twelve years.

Infrastructure
Access road to the Park and access ramps, complete urbanization, electrical utilities (connection, maintenance center, distribution center,) water [water utilities?] (primary network, general supply network, internal network, residential water, run-off water), fire safety system, telephone service and natural gas, with special conduits for the installment of fiber optics.

Buildings
Estrella 4,500 m2, property of Park to accept small companies already in existence so that they can develop their future sectors.
Nido 2,500 m2, property of Park to act as an incubator for newly created companies that plan on developing technological activities.
Barco 6,900 m2, property of Park that houses the Central Office and Services [Oficinas Centrales y Servicios], also available is a large area for the establishing of companies of medium size.
Indelec, mobile radio-telephones fabrication company (6,865 m2.)
Ingelectric, electrical engineering company (4,535 m2.)
In short, Degremont will make available their own buildings (water Treatment, 4,000 m2) and ABB (R&D, 2,700 m2.) There also exists a surface of 2,000 m2, in the process of being granted to Inser Robótica.

Companies
Up until now 80 companies have requested admission to the Park, fundamentally belonging to activities having to do with electronics, robotics, automation, information, engineering…

Advance to the second phase
(Conclusion 1991)

190,00 m2, with 52,000 suitable for building
Road infrastructure already completed and urbanization under construction
Construction of four new buildings, each 3,000 m2: two to divide and rent and two for installation of small companies
The building Ingernat (Engineering and Automation and Robotics System) completed 2,800 m2.
The complex, acquired by the Autonomous Delegation of Bizkaia for the location of the societies and groups of technical nature dependent of the Department of Promotion and Development of said Delegation, has been completed
The Telepuerto, constructed for Telephone in collaboration with SPRI to govern from there the entire telecommunication system of Basque Country, has been completed
